Results of testing the amount of aflatoxin in the samples by means of immuno-affinity chromatography-IAC and high pressure liquid chromatography HPLC showed that aflatoxin Bl and B2 concentration of the samples of soybean powder with Eucalyptus leaf powder or grapefruit peel powder is lower than the control sample (soybean powder without Eucalyptus leaf powder or grapefruit peel powder). Results showed that certain natural plant products such as Eucalyptus leaf powder (Eucalyptus camaldulensis Deh & Eucalyptus ciriodora Bailey) and grapefruit peel powder (Citrus grandis L osbeck) were capable of inhibiting the production of aflatoxin of fungal in soy-beans. Therefore, in future, Eucalyptus leaves and grapefruit peel can be used effectively in the preservation of soybeans to limit the production of aflatoxin from the strain of mold toxins.
