In this paper, the author consider the problem of frequency assignment and power allocation for multiple users in a MC-COMA system when the channel is known at the transmitter. An intelligent search algorithms (Ant Colony Optimization - ACO) was applied to the framework to find solution to the joint optimization problem. Simulations showed that by applying the framework the optimizing algorithm is capable of providing good solutions within a reasonable amount of time.
