Objective: To evaluate the result of ESWL method in the treatment of urinary tract stones by using HKV, combined with orally taking "TKT'" at the National Hospital of Traditional Medicine.Subjects: From 10/2007 to 10/2011, 316 patients with urinary tract stones, among them there were 152 cases of kidney stones (48.1 percent), 146 cases ofuretaral stones (46.2 percent) and 18 cases of bladder stones (5.7 percent).Results affter 02 months of treatment: + Good result: 67.40 percent, + Moderate result: 21,2percent, + Bad results: 5,69 percent, - Complications happened after lithotripsy: + Kidney pain cramps: 30,06percent, + Gross hematuria: 92,41 percent, + Fever: 1,58 percent, Conclusion: aplication of ESWL methods to treat urinary tract stones by using HK-V equipment combined with orally taking TKT prescription could give good results with low rate of complication. However it requires strictly indication and skilled technique.
