Characteristics of weather, nectar resources and physical habits of honey bees relate interactively together, affect to bee health and honey quality very much. According to the honey season, 3 phases of survey on risk factors related to residues in honey of 18 honey farms, 10 honey processing establisments were carried out
honey samples collected simultaneously, analysed residues, including heavy metals, residues of pesticides, antibiotics including banned substances in honey samples. The results indicated that: - Honey beekeepers have not had of a thorough knowledge of veterinary hygiene requirements in bee raising and management of honey bee flock to meet all veterinary hygiene requirements
- Streptomycine, enrofloxacin, sulfadiazine and CAP found in samples in the bee feeding period and the period for honey pre-harvesting of the 2nd and the 3rd sample collecting phases. Some recommendations for the safe honey production have been suggested.
