The study objective was to describe the parent-adolescent communication and to determine the relationship between the parent-adolescent communication and premarital sexual intercourse. The communication between parent and adolescent was quite well in all 3 aspects: Listenning and understanding each other, equity communication and the openness. The rate of parent talking with adolescent about adolescent' behavior and diet reasonably high (90 percent) while the rate of parent talking on topics related to love, gender or sexual intercourse... was very low. Listenning and understanding each other, equality and openness in communication between parents and adolescent was the protective factors for premarital sexual intercourse. In addition, parents talked about love, gender or sexual intercourse then adolescent also was less likely to premarital sexual intercourse.
