Intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is one a common cerebrovascular disease with high mortality and severe sequale. The study was conducted to evaluate effects of Linh Hoang decoction on AQP-4 in the rat model of intracerebral haemorrhage. The results showed that in sham-operation group, there was AQP-4 express. In model group AQP-4 expresses in uptrend, obviously in 1d - 3d period. Linh Hoang decoction and Naoxue Kang reduced AQP - 4 express area in 3rd day of treatment (p 0.05). In conclusion, Linh Hoang decoction could alleviates brain oedema possibly throurh reducing AQP-4.
