The determination of human skin thickness and vascular density have been achieved through various methods like: ultrasound, histometric. However, there is no any report of the skin thickness and vascular density of different regions of the face in Vietnam. The upper eyelid skin is thinnest with very little subcutaneous fat. Using the upper eyelid average skin thickness, the temporal skin is 2.08 - times thicker and cheek skin is 2.9 - times thicker. The rate of vascularity of upper eyelid is the highest (0.67 percent), and lower are temporal skin (0.48 percent), cheek skin (0.41 percent). In conclusion, the facial skin thickness and vascular density varies considerably between different regions.
