 Study objective: initial aecessment results treatment immunoglobulin of immune thombocytopenia purpura in children in National Hospital of Pediatrics
  Materials and methods: 76 children was treated with IVIG after not respond of treatment with steroid at least 2 week. Results: 29(70.73 percent) of boys and 19(54.3 percent) of girls in 1-5 years old. The number of Platelets less than 20G/L was dominate of 81.58 percent. The proportion of patients who respond to treatment after 2 days and 1 month was 76.29 percent and 68.41 percent respectively. The percentage of patients reached normal number of platelets in order after 2 days and 1 month was 22.36 percent and 32.89 percent. Discussions and Conclusions: There was a high proportion at 68.41 percent of patients respond to IVIG after 1 monh. The percentage of patients who had normal platelets after 1 month treatment was 32.89 percent.
