Chyloux fistula is not uncommon in the abdominal, thoracic and cervical operation. Among them, cervical chyloux fistula is usualy happen in the total thyroidectomy with radical or modified lateral compartment dissection of left side. Abdominal chyloux fitula after thyroid carcinoma operation is not never seen in the literature. The author presents a case of abdominal chyloux effusion caused by total thyroidectomy with modified lateral compartment dissection.
