Objective: The study was carried out on 240 cases (143 boys and 97 girls) with AKI from 1 month to 18 years old. Method: Prospective, desaiptive study, the patients were admitted in Pediabic Intensive Care Unit, National Hospital of Pediatric, form 04/2010 to 11/2010. Results and conclusion: 240/305 patients (78.7 percent) with AKI. Degree of AKI by pRIFLEmax criteria: Rmax 36.25 percent, Imax 43.33 percent, Fmax 20.42 percent. The mortality rate is 40.42percent, the highest rate is Fmax (67.35 percent). The independent risk factors associated with motality rate in AKI, which were significant in PICU, are: Multiple organ dysfunction syndromes ( or = 2 organes), blood kali or = 5 mmol/l, and blood lactate 6.5 mmol/l, patient required using or = 2 inotropic agents.
