The results of research on the application of CAT questionnaires for health assessment of 42 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at Internal Department of Viet-Tiep Hospital: - 100 percent of patients have symptoms of cough, cough with phlegm, shortness of breath, restricted activities at home, trouble sleeping and feeling unwell. - 11.9 percent of patients (5/42) do not feel chest tightness and 4.8 percent of patients (2/42) is assured to go out despite the lung disease. - Total average time in hospital was 27.52 + or - 3.88
to the discharge was 20.81 + or - 4.20. - The symptoms of coughing, spitting phlegm, dyspnea and health are markedly improved. Symptoms limiting activity, peace of mind out of the house, chest tightness and improved sleep less.
