Study aims: to evaluate the results of perforation of peptid ulcer with associated and non associated internal medicine treatment. Patient and method: 59 patients with perforated peptic ulcer from 7/2009 to 9/2010 in Viet Tiep Friendship Hospital. 54/59 are men, 5/59 are women. The average of age is 44.53, oldest is 86, smallest is 16 Results: 59 patients, success in 59 cases, there wase 2 cases digestive bleeding. 49 patients was associated with internal medicine treatment. 10 patients without internal medicine treatment. Abdominal pain in the epigastrium after surgery is 30.6 percent in the internal medicine therapy group, 80 percent with no internal medicine therapy group. The gastric ulcer recurrence with internal medinal medicine and non internal medicine is 2 percent and 30 percent. Conclusions: the perforation of peptid ulcer with associated internal medicine treatment is safe, effective. Patient health was restore soon, ratio of pain and ulcer recurrence was low.
