This research was carried out on 36 patients with partial thickness burns, 9 months to 61 years of age (23 male, 13 female) treated at the National institute of Burns: The result shown that: the porcine dermal dressing decreased pain, synovia
plasma and fluid loss from the wounds and served as a barrier against germ invasion. Decreasing the time of wound healing in the second degree burn was 7.47 + or - 0.19 days, third degree burn was 14.01 + or - 0.34 days to compare with the control areas was second degree burn was 9.47 + or - 0.19 days, third degree burn was 16.72 + or - 0.31 days with p 0.001.
