 Research aims: To study about knowledge, attitudes and behavior of students on voluntary blood donation. Method: Cross sectional study, a structured questionnaire has been used
  the target audience is 240 students of the Academy of Journalism and Communication. Results: 40.6 percent students are fully aware of voluntary blood donation
  nearly 80 percent of student are willing to donate blood
  40 percent donated before but almost are first time donor (40.4 percent for man and 62.8 percent of femalestudent). Conclusion: High percentage of student is at good knowledge towards blood donation (40.6 percent)
  79.2 percent willing to donate blood. The most popular reason to motivate them to donate is the meaning of the "noble" action - giving blood save lives (32.9 percent). But the percentage of student think that blood donation is harmful for health is still high (22.1 percent).
