Bark beetles belonging to Scolytidae (Coleoptera) were considered hamful insects to pines. acacias and eucalypts plantation showing poor growth perfonnance associated with stress condition. Surveillance of distribution and population, density of bark beetles in plantation of Pinus caribaea, acacia hybrid and Eucalyptus urophylla, clone U6 played not only scientific significance but practical ones. Using panel trap with 3 kinds of attractants: apinhi, 9E15-1 (imported from US) and DDM1 (home made), three species of bark beetles belonging to Scolytidae, Coleoptera: Dryocoetes villosus, Amasa sp. and Xylosandrus multilatuswere obtained from the traps. Distribution of these bark beetles were different in different kind of plantation, the number of individuals of the 3 bark beetle species was highest in Eucalyptus urophylla plantation and was the same amount of individual of the 3 bark beetle species in Pinus caribaea and acacia hybrid. Attractant of apinhi was highest effectiveness compared to 9E15-1 and DDM1 for catching Dryocoetes villosus and Amasa sp. Attractant of 9E15-1 was better than apinhi and DDM1 for attracting Xylosandrus multilatus. DDM1 could be used for attacting Amasa sp. like apinhi and 9E15-1. Population densities of the 3 bark beetles species were studies, there were two peaks of population density of Dryocoetes villosus in from May to June and from August to September. Two species Amasa sp. and Xylosandrus multilatuswere highest population densities in June.
