Red frog crab Ranina ranina (Linnaeus, 1758) is the cultured marine specie of high economic value as well as high nutrient. It has been rearing and starts perform reproduction in artificial condition at the Research Institute for Aquaculture No III. This report showed the influence of food and rearing density on survival and development of Zoea of the red frog crab Ranina ranina in Vietnam, as a basis for studies of seed production technology. The result showed that appropriate rearing density from 5 to 10 Zoea/L with survival in Zoea 4 stage from 4.67 percent to 6.33 percent. Feeding with mix Naupli artemia and rotifer are the suitable food for Zoea larvae from Z1 to Z4.
