Multi-dimensional poverty index MPI was first introduced in 2010 by UNDP, this is a general measure of the human poverty. The authors built multi-dimensional poverty index for provinces in Vietnam in 2008 and assess impacts of some factors on this index, in which considered quality of administration and management of local government.
