Tóm tắt

Tuition fee is considered as necessary to lessen the burdens on the government in financing higher education. Tuition fees, however, have strong impact on learners and their families. This paper examines students' perception on the current tuition fee policy and its impact on students' selection of study fields through a survey of students from different fields of study. Based on the research results, the paper provides some suggestions for the government and policy makers.
