The study was to describe knowledge, attitudes and practices of people about cancer prevention in 2011 in six provinces/cities. The results indicated that 92.4 percent of people know the most common cancers
most liver cancer (54.2 percent), 30.5 percent do not know any causes/risk factors that cause cancer
66.2 percent said cancer could be prevented, 5.4 percent said vaccination for hepatitis B and HPV vaccines. Attitude: 85.1 percent said examination and treatment at health facilities
45.4 percent said regular health check. Practice: 23.5 percent restricted food preservatives, pollution
3.6 percent to hepatitis B vaccination and HPV vaccine
53.2 percent 6-months health check/time. In conclusions, knowledge of people about cancer is limited, but most have the right attitude of disease detection. Most people are not good at cancer prevention.
