Treatment of tomato with NPV-Ha at 3x10 exponent12 PIB per ha was as effective in controlling bollworm. Helicoverpa armigera (Hubn). The population density of the bollworm, Helicoverpa armigera was slowest in plots treated by NPV-Ha in comparison with plots sprayed by the product of Bacillus thuringiensis or chemical insecticide Regent 800WG. It means that the efficacy of NPV-Ha in controlling bollworm. Helicoverpa armigera was better than that of the product of B. thuringiensis and a chemical insecticide Regent 800WG. The efficacy period of all bioproducts and chemical insecticide Regent 800WG was short. The product of NPV-Ha was the slowest - acting in comparison with other products included in the treatment.
