Using Asecodes hispinarum as a parasitoid to control coconut hispine beetle is a new technique in PhuYen province. The aim of this study was to determine some bio-characteristics of Asecodes hispinarum in Phu Yen's condition. Initial results show that 25-28 °C is optimum temperature range for development of Asecodes hispinarum. Their life cycle is about 17.5 - 20.2 days ( average - 18.86 days). In that condition, parasited rate on the Coconut hispine beetle mummy is 87.48 percent and the raised rate is about 1: 18, 52. It is equal in compared with the UAF's results. Adult's number per mummy is about 43.7 - 126.3 with the emerging rate is 94.6 percent, and this result is very high. Asecodes hispinarum is possible to adapt to new circumstance and develop in Phu Yen province.
