Background: Study performed in 33 breast cancer patients with stage I and II who underwent breast reconstruction by using the autologous tissue flaps from December 1998 to December 2010 in Hue Central Hospital. The purpose of this study to be assessement the effectiveness of breast cancer treatment in the field of oncology as well as aesthetics. Materials and Methods: This is a retrospective study. Breast reconstruction by using tissue flaps were LD flap, pedicled TRAM flap, bipedided TRAM flap and supercharged TRAM flap, DIEP flap. The assessement of the oncology results based on Kapplan Meier, aesthetic results was assessed by criteria of Garbay. Result: Breast reconstruction with LD flap has 15 patients (45.5 percent), the modified TRAM flap has 17 patients (51.5 percent) and 01 patient (0.3 percent) for DIEP flap. Immediate breast reconstruction has 17 patients (57.6 percent) and 12 patients for delay breast reconstruction. Research has shown that the overall survival as 78.4 percent in 10 years. The aesthetic result of research has shown 81.9 percent with excellent and good score and nobody has ranged poor score. Conclusion: The LD flap, TRAM flap and DIEP flap were choosing for breast reconstruction by using autologous tissue flap, it is also shown that high cosmetic result and the reliable surgical option. Immediately breast reconstruction is becoming the promising procedures for early breast cancer patient.
