Subjects. to assess the efficacy, safety and adverse effects of Panas Notoginseng Saponins (PNSLuotai) in patients with angina pectoris. Method: cross-sectional, observational study of 30 patients with angina pectoris wered treated by antianginal therapy associated with PNS-Luotai soft capsules 600mg PO divided tid. Results: Clinical symptoms before and after the treatment were improved fatigue (from 96.6 percent below 6.6 percent) palpitation, dyspnea (from 96.6 percent, 60.0 percent to 6.6 percent both). Luotai decreased frequency (from 43.3 percent to 3.3 percent and 26 percent no pain), intensity and duration of angina pectoris (from 33.3 percent to 13.3 percent after treatment). No case reported about adverse effects related to PNS-Luotai. Conclution: PNS-Luotai is an efficace and safe for patients with angina pectoris.
