The research conducted over 75 cracked teeth caused by chewing and having no endodontic therapy at the Dental Faculty, No.108 Military Central Hospital from March 2010 to March 2011 so as to aim at assessing methods for the treatment and preservation of cracked teeth after 1 week and 6 months. The results showed that there were 52 teeth which had been treated in preservation, taking up 69.3 percent and 23 teeth which had to extract therein, accounting for 30.7 percent in 75 therapeutic teeth. Therapeutic procedures for preservation consisted of composite sealing - with 6 teeth (19.6 percent), only crown making - with 5 teeth (9.6 percent), endodontic therapy and making crown - with 41 teeth (78.8 percent). After 6 months, the results showed that the teeth group with endodontic therapy and crown making has the highest rate (73.4 percent).
