By the specific characteristics in regulating water for hydropower, annual, semi-submerged land arotmd the hydroelectric Ialy and PleiKroong lakes approximately 3000 ha. Submerged soil fertility is high and the known composition of mild to moderate, because of the annual deposition of alluvium and upstream of the flow. The soil moisture in the Summer-Spring season - drough season (from Febuary-April) often higher than other areas due to soil water balance in the fonn. The current agricultural practices are mostly cultivated one harvest per year
the object plants are cassava, beans, rice, maize
low economic efficiency per unit of land. The result of research to identify the appropriate plant structure on the semi-submerged land in the hydro-eletric power reservoir areas of Ialy and PleiKroong in 2011 has determined the two plant structures achieved the highest econnomic efficiency, it is the structrue of soybean (Spring-Summer) - rice (Summer-fall) with net interest on average 19,735,000 VND/ha/year and the plant structure soybean (Spring-Summer) - corn (Summer-fall) with net interest on average 21,642,500 VND/ha/year, higher than the other plant structures of a harvest per year tmder the old menthod of farmer from 27-40 percent.
