 Nannochloropsis oculata is widely used in aquaculture as well as application of functional foods for human consumption by nutritional value and the ability to produce active substances such as pigments (zeaxanthin. astaxanthin ...) and polyunsaturated fatty acids (EPA). The commercial production and harvest of products needs high cell densities. However, Nannochloropsis oculata with small size of cells and low growth rate has caused many difficulties of the culture. To select suitable diameter of model to increase cell density and high efficiency biomass, some of diameters of the PE cylinder model affect the density of algae was performed in two months 10-11/2011: (i) PE cylinder has 30 cm diameter (volume 80 liters) reached a maximum density of 35.46 x 106 cells/ ml (October) and 51.40 x 106 cells/ml (November)
  (ii) PE cylinder has 40 cm diameter (volume 140 liters) reached a maximum density of 33.06 x 106 cells/ ml (October) and and 36.56 x 106 cells/ml (November)
  (iii) PE cylinder has 50 cm diameter (volume 215 liters) reached a maximum density of 29.90 x 106 cells/ ml (October) and and 34.08 x 106 cells/ml (November).
