This paper highlights the application of a generating cyanide bacterium C. violaceum in the treatment and recovery of copper from printed circuit boards (PCBs) in the YP medium contain 10g/l peptone, 5g/l glycine, 5g/l yeast extract and a low concentration of Pb(NO3)2 3 x 10 exponent -6 mol/l, pulp density 15g/l, temperature at 30oC and shaking speed at 150 rpm. The results showed that the leaching of copper efficiency depends on pH conditions. The highest leaching efficiency was found 11 percent at pH 10,0. The study also discovered that the copper leaching efficiency can be enhanced by the adding of H2O2 0.004 percent (v/v). The percentage of copper leached out in 8 days was found higher 4,5 time (47 percent) compared without addition of H2O2 (11 percent).
