The results using 29 SSR markers for analyzing genetic diversity of 34 native blast disease resistant rice varieties have obtained a total number of 956 DNA bands belong to 162 differences alleles (with an average of 5.58 alleles per SSR loci). PIC value changed from 0.34 to 0.85 with a mean of 0.71. These blast disease resistant rice varieties have relatively high genetic purity, the heterozygosity changed from 0 to 13.79 percent (with a mean of 1.57 percent). Genetic similarity coefficients of 34 varieties were ranging from 0.00 to 0.69. At genetic similarity level of 19 percent showed that 34 varieties were divided into six major groups: Group I and VI only consist of 1 variety. Group II consists of 6 varieties with genetic similarity coefficients were ranging from 0.17 to 0.53. Group III consists of 10 varieties with the genetic similarity coefficients were ranging from 0.10 to 0.50. Group IV consists of 6 varieties with genetic similarity coefficients were ranging from 0.15 to 0.60. Group V consists of 10 varieties with genetic similarity coefficients were ranging from 0.13 to 0.69. Using RM172, RM229, RM257, RM270, RM286 and RM341 markers can accurately identifying for Tan lanh, Khau giang cam, Ole te 10, Khau tan nhe, Khau hut danh and D'le la rice varieties. The results also showed that using SSR markers not only for analyzing genetic diversity, determination genetic relationship, among native blast disease resistant rice varieties but also for subspecies classification at an accurate.
