The paper raised gold's impact on risk management in foreign exchange trading activities of commercial banks, a detailed analysis of the risks arising in gold business, especially business is gained benefits from the differences between domestic and international gold prices bring the cost that the bank incurred when taking such transactions and transaction maintain methods. The authors also propose possible solutions in establishing, implementing an effective risk management system for foreign exchange business in general and gold in particular business in the current economic conditions of Vietnam.
