For the past two years, pharmaceutical labels were rather well complied with the requirements and regulations promugated by the Circular No.04/200B/TT-BYT of the Ministry of Health. Yet, some violations were committed. Relatively high was the rate of those involving the inscription "Prescription only medicine" of antibiotics and NSAIDs (above 60.0 percent), followed by the required contents on the direct package of antibiotics, NSAIDs and Vitamins - Tonics (2.1 percent
13.5 percent and 2.7 percent, respectively), then the required contents of the leaflets including interactions, side effects, pharmacodynamic, pharmacokinetic and overdose and treatment.
