Two field experiments employing Split-plot and Randomized Complete Block were carried out in Spring of 2010 and 2011, respectively, at Gia Lam - Hanoi with the aim of determining compost dose and micro-organic fertilizer types suitable to cucumber. Research results showed that 30 tones of compost and 2,500 kg of Song Gianh micro-organic fertilizer per ha could be applied to Thuan Thanh cucumber varierty with high economic effectiveness, net income, high quality and safe product.
