Optimal distribution of the grounding grid is a current problem that is interested by the substation designers and the scientists of power field. One of the experimental method recently for above said problems was recently suggested. It reduced the metal quantity about 30 percent in comparison with the classical method, however, it showed only one concrete case. This paper studied and suggested a new experimental method which is able to reduced the metal quantity over 40 percent in comparison with the classical method. Besides, it still considered the influences of substation area and the corresponding fault currents.
