This study was carried out in 2009 -2011 with five Anopheles minimus populations from Hoa Binh and two Anopheles minimus strains in insectarium. The bioassay results showed that four field populations were susceptible to Lambdacyhalothrin and Alphacypermethrin (98-100 percent mortality), 1 field populations were susceptible to Alphacypermethrin, possible resistance to Lambdacyhalothrin (96 percent mortality). Mostly, mortalities in bioassays in F1 generations with these insecticide is lower (66-10 percent mortality). Anopheles minimus Hoa Son strain was resistance to Lambdacyhalothrin and Alphacypermethrin in 2 times (2009, 2010). Anopheles minimus Quyet Chien strain was susceptible to Lambdacyhalothrin and Alphacypermethrin in 2009 and possible resistance to Lambdacyhalothrin and Alphacypermethrin in 2010. The levels of esterase and monooxygenase had tendency to increase in populations having lower motalities in bioassays at filial generation (F1).
