The study was conducted in 150 factories and centralized water supply, 984,714 households in five provinces of Central Highlands including Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong and Lam Dong were investigated on water quality and sanitation water, sanitary household latrines. The results showed that 53.66 percent of the time monitoring at the factoties and centralized water supply and 62.95 percent of the wells achieved the standard sanitation
on water quality: 71.42 percent of the factoties and centralized water supply and 36.17 percent of the wells samples achieved the permitted standard for water. Percentage of households with latrines was 80.93 percent, pour flush latrine in which the highest percentage (31.14 percent), the septic tank: 21.99 percent, double vault latrines: 6,50 percent, improved latrines have sunk vented: 10.67 percent and 29.69 percent of other types. The percentage of the latrines which were evaluated hygienic reached 55.11 percent.
