Tóm tắt

This paper presents the results of study on the ability of using palm oil biodiesel as alternative fuel on diesel engines equipped with common rail fuel supply system. The study was carried out by comparative experiments on power output, specific fuel consumption and emissions characteristics of an AVL 5402 common rail diesel engine fueled with 3 different fuel. This imply that palm oil biodiesel can be used as a good alternative fuel for modern diesel engines equipped with common rail fuel supply system.
