Background: Since September 2010, in Cho Ray Blood Tranfusion Center, the authors have performed HLA (Human Leucocyte Antigen) phenotyping technique by PCR-SSO. Objective: To determine the PCR-SSO technique for identification HLA in Cho Ray hospital. Material: Kidney transplant donor and patient in Cho Ray hospital. Method: PCR-SSO (Polymerase Chain Reaction - Sequence- specific Oligonucleotide Probes). Results: Collected are that 172 phenotyping of HLA-A, HLA-B,HLA-DRB1, HLA-DQA1 and HLA -DQB1 among 86 persons..The most popular phenotype of HLA-A*l1 is 31.39 percent, HLA-B*15 is 26.16 percent, HLA-DRB1*12 is 31.97 percent, HLA-DQA1*06 is 36.04 percent, HLADQB1*03 is 45.93 percent. Conclusion: The method helps us alot in diagnosis before organic transplantationt, choose donor for transplantation, especially it is fastest, accurate and specific for HLA phenotyping.
