This study explores whether infectious diseases increased after the 2009 flood in the flood-affected district. Methods: this is cross sectional study. Patient consultations recorded at all commune health centres in the period of nine months before and nine months after the 2009 flood were collected and analyzed. Results: the increase of patient consultations occurred rapidly after the flood and remained during the 3 months after flood. Numbers of consultations due to CDs in the affected district was 1.15 times higher than that in the non-affected district (OR=1.15
