At present, there has been mine fire at some coal mines caused by the coal spontaneous combustion. For treating these mine fire, the fire stopping made by brick, sand or inert gas have been always installed for isolating the fire. The paper refers to the conditions and methods for reopening the fire stopping after a mine fire in underground coal mines.
