Purpose: the authors evaluated of quality of life of head (and neck cancer treated with sequetial chemoradiotherapy. Method: A cross-sectional investigation was conducted to assess the quality of life of 71 live patients from September 2009 to July 2012. All patients have been treated induction chemotherapy TCF regimen (3 courses), followed concurrent chemoradiation with Cisplatin. The EORTC QLQ-C30 questionnaire and QLQ-H&N35 were used. Results: Global QoL was 58. Mean functional scales was 71 (maximum was physical functioning, minimum was social functioning). The poor symptom scales/items was mouth dryness (62), swallowing solid food (57), sticky saliva (52), opening mouth (43), felt ill (41), and pain killers (31), and weight loss (39), respectively. It was found that QoL differs due to global QoL or = 64, P.5 0 and stage III. Conclusions: EORTC QLQ-C30 and QLQ H&N35 demonstrated good validity, relibility, and responsiveness to measure QoL for Vietnamese patients with head and neck cancer.
