The extraction of rare earth elements by mixture of triphenyphosphin oxide (TPPO) and di-(2ethylhexyl)phosphoric acid from nitric acid solutions has been studied. It was found that from nitric acid solutions, the system can enhance the extraction.effect (SK 0). The extraction system was used for separating, enriching La and Y from total of rare earth of Monazit in Thua Thien Hue.
