Tóm tắt

This paper presents an investigation in building of flexible pavement by applying compact asphalt technology. Initial researches have showed this technology can be able to obtain advantages in cost saving, reduction in paving times as well as improving quality of pavement. Laboratory experiments also confirmed that the technology manufactured a "full bonding" and no displacement between asphalt layers in flexible pavement structure. In case of paying further attentions the compact asphalt technology will be successfully applied in Vietnam for high performance flexible pavement projects.
