The study was conducted in four districts of Nghe An province from February to May 2011. Objective: Describe some of the epidemiological characteristics of typhus epidemics in Nghe An province in 2011. Subjects and methods: The study describes epidemiological cross-sectional retrospective study on 288 cases of typhus. Results: The disease occurs in all age groups, the group has the highest rate of 10 - 15 years (42.7 percent), the group with the lowest incidence of 1 year of age (3.8 percent). High incidence in men than in women (52.4 percent and 47.6 percent). Among patients SPB Rubella infection rate (41.6 percent) than measles (7.8 percent). Measles vaccination does not make sense for patients SPB. Contact with patients SPB factors significant in the diagnosis of rubella and measles.
