This paper presents embryo development and larvae stages of red frog crab Ranina ranina. Eggs and each stage of larvae were measured and observed morphology by microscop 40x and 100x and stereo microscop. The result showed that red frog crab's embryo development was classified into five stages based on size, texture of ovary and changing egg's color from orange-yellow to dark-brown because of the yolk material accumulation. The red frog crab's embryo development was finished within 19 to 21 days at temperature 26 to 28°C. This species is proved to have 7 to 8 Zoea stages and one Megalopa stage. The front and dosal of zoea larvae has a long spine with spinules on outer margin. And 3-old day megalopa can hide under sand like as adult individual. Larval development was completed in 40 to 60 days.
