Objective: 1) Evaluating the results of abdominal catheter for peritoneal dialysis in the treatment of patients with end-stage renal failure. 2) Select appropriate techniques for current conditions. Material and method: from 10.13.2004 to 14.10.2010 at Bach Mai hospital surgery we performed 370 surgical patients with abdominal catheter placed diagnosed with chronic renal failure stage III, IV. Results: 1- After surgery: percentage of patients after surgery 5-year follow-up 86.76 percent. The classification: Good 218 patients (58.91 percent). On average 19 patients (5.14 percent). Least 133 patients. 2- On the technical choices: open procedure is technically simple, less expensive and can perform surgery at all. No need to cut the omentum for open and laparoscopic procedures. Conclusion: This is a technically simple, safe and effective. Can be done in the general surgical. Contribute significantly to the problems in treating patients with end-stage renal failure.
