Background: The purpose of this study to be determine the rate of oestrogen and progesterone receptors in breast cancer patients with stages I, II, IlIA .It is also assessement the results of treatment by the 5 years overal survival and disease free survival based on oestrogen receptors. Patients and Methods: This is a retrospective study on 182 breast cancer patients, assessement the survival by Kaplan Meier. Results: 101 cases ER (+) accounted 55.5 percent and 81 cases ER (-) accounted 44.5 percent. For progresterone receptor, 99 cases PR (+) accounted 54.4 percent and 83 cases PR (-) accounted 45.6 percent. Relationship between ER and PR shown that ER (-), PR (-) as 37.91 percent, ER (+), PR (+) as 47.81 percent, ER (-), PR (+) as 6.59 percent, ER (+), PR (-) as 7.69 percent. The rate of ER (+) has axillary lymph node metastasis as 39.6 percent and no metastasis as 60.4 percent. The overall survival 5 years as 90.2 percent, the disease free survival 5 years as 87.4 percent for ER (-) and 93.4 percent for ER (+). Conclusion: Breast cancer treatment based on oestrogen receptors is a standard method because of bringing the longtime benefit for patients.
