81 patients under 50 years old at the time of operation (94 hips) were treated by cementless total hip Arthroplasty in the period from Jan 2000 to May 2008. The time follow-up ranged from 4 to 12 years (averagely 6.1 years). Functional results were measured by the harris hip score with 96.15 percent at excellent and good levels. Cementless total hip arthroplasty remains a reasonable option in adolescence and early adulthood in selected patients with severe debility from multiple joint disease.
