Objective: the aim of study was effective pyloroplasty or non pyloroplasty for replacement surgery of esophagus by gastric tube in esophageal cancer. Material and method: prospectively, from 1/2010 to 4/2011, the authors have perform 43 case esophagectomy and reconstruction with gastric tube. All case had no pyloroplasty. Results: 1 (2.4 percent) case mortality, 1 (2.4 percent) case anastomoctic perforation, 3 (7.2 percent) cases leakage anastomosis. The average of gastric fluid take per day was 273ml + or - 14ml, gastric dilatation after esophagectomy was 17 cases (41.8 percent), 16 cases (37.3 percent) esophago - gastric reflux. Conclusion: no pyloroplasty is no effective complication after esophagectomy and reconstruction with gastric tube. Althought no pyloroplasty is effective empty gastric later and esophago - gastric reflux.
