 Background: Coagulation testing abnormalities is a common laboratory symptom seeing in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients. Purpose: To assess the situation with bleeding symptom after chemotherapy in AML patients. Patients and methods: analysis study of 56 patients with AML treated in National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion from 8/2009 to 5/2010. Results: In group with bleeding symptoms there 'are 83.3 percent with prolonged bleeding time and abnormal blood clot contraction (87 percent)
  which are significantly higher than in group without bleeding symptom (20 percent
