This study aimed at evaluating the physical development state and knowledge, attitude and practice ability on biomedicine in the last year students at Hue university's physical education faculty. The investigation was conducted on 104 students of the course 2009-2013 at Hue University's Physical Education Faculty. The research indexes consisted of height, body weight, body mass index (8MI), physical development state, knowledge, attitude and practice ability on biomedicine. The results showed that: 1. For physical development state: - The average height of male students was 1.70 m, and of female students was 1.61 m. The average weight of males was 62.5 kg, and of female students was 48.3 kg. - The average 8MI of male students was 21.6, and of the female students was 18.6, which met criterion for good physical category. - Frequency of breathing and heart rate of those male and female students were within normal biological range. 2. For knowledge, attitude, and practice in biomedical study and sport training: - Students understood general knowledge and simple specific indexes in biomedicine, having the right attitude about the necessity of biomedical knowledge in the field of sports activities, but many students still lacked specific knowledge so that they could not calculate simple anthropometric indices.
