Problem: Autism is one from pervasive developmental. Due to the difficulty in attention their language, behavior and social skills had been affected seriously. Objectives: 1) to evaluate the improvement of attention after 3 month's speech therapy intervention. 2) To assess the behaviors disorders (by Gilliam scale [4J) in relation with their improved attention. Method: 35 kids aged 2-6 years, identified autism by DSM-IV. A Larson scale on attention (A- TAC) had been used to evaluate their attention at the moments 1 month and 3 months after speech therapy intervention. The results: The attention skills had been significantly improved after speech therapy for three months (p 0,0001).
